Isometric stencil interior commission in Southsea with SNUB23
SNUB23 and I were recently requested to paint an Isometric mural by a fan of Snub23’s cubist designs, inside their home!
It was a great challenge converting a print of such complexity into a living mural inside someone’s home. But so rewarding when it came out just perfect!
Plus the added complication of painting the whole thing on a staircase was interesting. We used our monkey-like skills to balance in odd places and hang off bannisters.
Abstract works like this are a big favourite of mine. I love the trance like meditation you get from painting cubes endlessly. For most other artist this kind of work is a nightmare. But for me and SNUB23 it’s a rhythmic dance we both love.
We have especially missed this kind of work over lockdown. We hope soon we will get more interior mural comissions like this inside peoples homes, offices and gardens.
Would you like your own abstract mural painted inside your home?
