A Special Pet Portrait
A very special pet portrait was created for a lady I know who, sadly, had to give up her beloved cat companion, Purdy, to a rescue organization because she was no longer well enough to care for her and provide the attention that Purdy truly needed. It takes immense strength and courage to prioritize the well-being of a loved one, even when it means making the painful decision to say goodbye. This heartfelt cat portrait beautifully depicts the lovely Purdy, surrounded by delicate Lilly of the Valley flowers, which are the favourite flowers of the lady for whom I created this piece.
My heart goes out to her for having to navigate such a difficult and emotional decision. I sincerely hope that this picture serves as a cherished reminder of the wonderful and joyful times they shared during their time together.
