Southend City Jam 2024
Southend City Jam 2024 was an incredible experience! This vibrant street art festival transformed the city into a canvas of creativity, and I was fortunate enough to contribute two murals this year alongside over 100 other amazing artists including, Rocket, SNUB23, Curtis Hylton, Woskerski, Aspire and Fat Heat.
My first piece, a playful pink sausage dog, on Lucy Road, added a touch of whimsy to the urban landscape. Painted alongside Jim Vision, Luke Smile,
Tris, Questz, Flipping Zombies and Lily.
The second, a bold portrait of a punk girl with a hyena, injected a bit of rebellious energy into the area around the square next to the Beecroft Art Gallery. This is one of the first times I painted a human freehand.
It was an honour to be a part of such a dynamic event. The energy was infectious, and it was inspiring to see the city come alive with colour and creativity. Southend City Jam is a testament to the power of street art to transform public spaces and bring communities together.
I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have participated and contribute my own unique voice to this vibrant celebration of art.
